ABOUT US

Owner Ken Edaburn grew up in Manchester and worked for 32 years at Collins Aerospace (Rockell) before embarking upon a late-inning career as a restaurateur. During his time at Rockwell Ken expressed his creativity by making his own craft beer, as well as experimenting with different recipes and cooking techniques. He brings his passion for great food, coffee, and beer to Marshall's Public House and hopes to convince even one of his stubborn old friends to try something new.  When Ken can get out of the kitchen he finds the most rewarding aspect of being a restaurateur is meeting with you.

Marshall's Public House is a small, family oriented restaurant with big plans. Formerly known as Pub-N-Grub, Boonies, Country Stable, Town Talk and Club Oasis (are we forgetting anything?) this location has been serving Earlville and the surrounding northeast Iowa area for decades.

Under the new stewardship of Ken Edaburn the establishment aims to surprise and entice with original recipes, craft beers, specialty coffee, and delectable local meats—all examples of how good food and spirits can be.

The restaurant is already home to some popular signature sandwiches and will be adding additional menu items and special events as Ken and his team get more accustomed to the challenges of the restaurant business.

Ken's recent updates to the restaurant interior and newly minted exterior patio area provide a natural gathering place for folks from miles around.

Even in currently challenging times Marshall's strives to provide a friendly staff serving you quality food and drink in a relaxing atmosphere... in the middle of everywhere.
